MICROBOARD Rates as of 28 October 2026 Post a brief

Prices on this page are real to the roster · 28 October 2026 · USD

A post on this board costs $250 to $1,100, plus our 15%.

That is the whole price. No retainer, no subscription, no minimum spend, and the creator is paid their full rate out of it.

By the size of their audience

Follower count is the crudest measure there is, but it is the one that sets the price, so here it is plainly. What you should actually compare is cost per thousand views — the fee divided by the views, times a thousand — because a creator with 12,000 followers who gets 40,000 views on a reel is cheaper than one with 80,000 who gets 25,000.

AudienceOne feed postWhat you are buying
2,000–10,000 followers$120–$300 a postA neighbourhood audience that reads every word. Strong for a shop with one location.
10,000–30,000 followers$250–$550 a postThe sweet spot on this board. Still answers comments personally; wide enough to matter.
30,000–60,000 followers$400–$750 a postComfortable on camera, usually has a second platform, often books out four weeks ahead.
60,000–100,000 followers$600–$1,100 a postNear the top of micro. Expect a media kit, an agent on occasion, and a longer lead time.

By what you ask them to make

Each creator sets their own number for each of these; the figures are on their page. This is what the five formats are for.

FormatWhat it isWhen to choose it
One feed postA single post or carousel, left up permanently.Lowest cost per view that stays available. Good when people will search for it later.
One short videoA vertical video of 15–60 seconds, posted once.Reaches furthest beyond their own followers. Best for something that has to be seen working.
A story setThree stories in a row with a link sticker, gone in 24 hours. The only format that sends people straight to a link. Use it for a dated offer.
Footage onlyStills and clips licensed to you. They never post it.You run it as your own ad. Costs more because they give up the posting fee and keep nothing.
Three in a monthThree deliverables inside one month, format their choice.Repetition is what moves a small audience. Cheaper per piece than booking three times.

Usage rights

Six months of paid social is included in the rates on this board. Twelve months adds about a fifth. Television, billboards and shop windows are quoted per case, because the creator is giving up control of where their face appears.

Exclusivity

Four weeks without promoting a competitor is included. Eight weeks adds about a third. A full quarter is rare and costs roughly double, because it shuts them out of the season.

Running it as your own ad

Advertising from the creator's own account — whitelisting — roughly doubles the fee. Licensing an existing post afterwards costs a quarter to a half of what the post originally cost.

Every term on this site, in plain words

If a term is used anywhere on the board, it is explained here. Nothing in this trade is complicated enough to need jargon.

Micro-influencer
A creator with roughly 2,000 to 100,000 followers. Small enough to answer their own comments, which is why their audience believes them.
CPM
Cost per thousand views. Divide the fee by the views, times a thousand. It is the only number that lets you compare two creators of different sizes.
Engagement rate
Likes, comments and saves as a share of followers. On this board it is read off their last ten posts, not off a media kit.
UGC
User-generated content. Footage and stills you licence and run as your own ad. The creator never posts it, so their followers never see it.
Usage rights
How long, and in what places, you may run their material. Six months of paid social is normal. Television, billboards and shop windows cost extra.
Whitelisting
Running ads from the creator's own account, so the ad carries their name and their follower count. It usually doubles the fee.
Exclusivity window
A period in which they will not promote a competitor. Four weeks is standard here; eight costs about a third more.
Story set
Three consecutive stories with a link sticker. They disappear after 24 hours, so they are for a dated offer, not for a launch you want found later.
Disclosure
The law requires a paid post to say so, plainly, where it is seen — not buried in hashtags. Every placement on this board carries it.
Desk fee
Our cut. Fifteen per cent on top of the creator's fee, shown on every quote before you commit. The creator is paid their full rate.
